Waffle fabric is a fabric with a recessed square pattern. The raised edges around the recessed squares give the pattern the look of the breakfast food called waffles. It can be both woven and knit but waffle knits is much better than woven in hand feeling. Waffle knits provide a perfect characteristics of warmness and softness.
