Modal is a natural fiber made of cellulose from beech. This versatile fiber decreases shrinkage in a cotton fabric, also making it over 50% more water absorbent. Modal is a semi-synthetic cellulose fiber spun from reconstituted cellulose, typically of the beech tree. Although it can be used alone, it is often blended with other fibers since modal is known for its softness and high wet strength. Combined with cotton, cotton/modal has a relative cheaper price comparing to 100% modal and keeps the advantage of modal. For printed cotton modal fabric, we use reactive dyeing stuff on the fabrics to make the color more beautiful and rich. Meanwhile, the colou fastness to washing is much better than other printing methods. Product highlights: 1.
