Sand-washed fabric: It's a light- to medium-weight fabric which drapes well. It's been washed in fabric softeners to make it soft and slightly faded in appearance, and is used mostly for shirts and dresses.
Care instruction: dry clean, warm iron on wrong side without steam.

The characteristics and use of modal polyester sandwash fabric
Similar in hand and feel to sandwashed silk, we love its ethereal floatiness and elegant drape. With a soft, sueded texture and slight sheen, it's an absolute joy to handle and wear. Produced from regenerated cellulose fibre from beech, modal is breathable and regulates temperature like classic cotton but its characteristics is much better than cotton. Use it for any lightweight garment, from floaty dresses, blouses, wide-legged pants and lingerie.
