Pilling comes from rubbing or abrasion during normal wear and use. Fabrics made of long fibres like silk and linen pill less than wool, cotton, polyester, and other synthetic yarns. When fibres are mixed in a fabric like a cotton/polyester blend, the pilling effect is usually much stronger than the other.
How to prevent or reduce the pilling: During fabric manufacturing, we add a dyestuff which resists pilling can greatly reduce the pilling in ready fabric or garment finish.
